random thoughts on life and religion

Hi. My name is Ryan. I’m a fellow from NYC who’s lived in Midwest America and now resides in Portland, Oregon. Since 2001, I have been happily married to Laura, a small-town girl from Oklahoma. We have two dogs, a Yorkshire Terrier named Pippin and a Dachshund named Bigsby. I graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary not that long ago, and I’m now I’m trying to live as a faithful subject of God’s kingdom. It’s difficult at times, and I fail a lot, but I try.

My blog is a jumble of thoughts and musings on life, religion, ministry, and really whatever else happens to pop into my head. I apologize for its apparent randomness, but even in that randomness, it reflects who I am. I hope you enjoy what you read; whatever the case, though, I’d love to hear what you have to say.
